The commission's 29-page report takes an in-depth look at San Mateo County's Juvenile Justice System during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The commission spent six months interviewing local members of local law enforcement, the Juvenile Court, District Attorney's office, Juvenile Private Defender program, Juvenile Probation, Court & Community Schools, Juvenile Hall staff, and youth incarcerated at the Youth Service Center, San Mateo County's Juvenile Hall.
The commission will discuss the report at their upcoming meeting this Tuesday,
July 27, 2021. The JJDPC currently meets on the last Tuesday of every month
from 5:15-7:15 pm via Zoom.
